His wife only received one letter from him after his departure from home, and she assumed he either shipwrecked or was captured by pirates.

She never remarried, but lived with her daughter Mary Fee Steen near Roswell, Georgia. She and her two daughters Mary and Margaret are buried near Roswell, Georgia.2

Note*George Fee and Elizabeth Foster A few years after marrying, George and Elizabeth emigrated to America and lived in Augusta, Georgia. He was captain of his own vessel, and sailed for St. Augustine, Florida about 1804. His wife only received one letter from him after his departure from home, and she assumed he either shipwrecked or was captured by pirates.

She never remarried, but lived with her daughter Mary Fee Steen near Roswell, Georgia. She and her two daughters Mary and Margaret are buried near Roswell, Georgia.2
